About
A resource hub, not a sales pitch.
Why this hub exists
Most real-estate sites are built to capture leads. This hub is built to answer questions — clearly, accurately, and without steering. If you find it useful and want to talk to a person, our contact page is one click away. If you don't, the information still helped.
Our fair-housing pledge
We serve all people equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin. Suburb profiles use objective data — school district names with state ratings, property tax rates, commute time, median prices, transit access, walkability — and never subjective or coded language about "good," "bad," or "desirable" areas.
Where the data comes from
- Population: U.S. Census Bureau (most recent ACS estimates).
- Property tax rates: County assessment offices, school district millage rates.
- School districts: Pennsylvania Department of Education.
- Median home prices: Bright MLS aggregate data.
- Transit: SEPTA and Amtrak published schedules.
- Walk Score: walkscore.com (third-party).
Editorial principles
- Plain English. No jargon without a definition.
- No paywalls, no upsell, no dark patterns. Email is never required to read content.
- Cite the source. Statistics are dated and sourced; if something is an estimate, we say so.
- Compliance first. Every page is reviewed against fair-housing standards before publication.
